Strategic HVAC Electrification and the Architect's/Engineer's Role

Course Description

This course reviews the concept and goals of building decarbonization and how HVAC system electrification can play a role in helping meet the overarching goal of stabilizing or reversing climate change. The program identifies the impact of electrified HVAC systems and solutions on reducing building greenhouse gas emissions and explores the various performance and design considerations that influence the selection process.

  3. Identify areas of the U.S. that are moving toward electrification
  4. Identify various systems and solutions that can be applied to electrify HVAC and DHW
